NetSupport School Tutor

NetSupport School Tutor is a classroom instruction and monitoring software.

This software is recoginzed as the best in its class and has been the market leader since 1995.  It gives the instructor the ability to view and access all student workstations, display content to all students in real time, chat with the class, control all applications that can be accessed, administer quizzes, and more.  This can all be done from the teacher workstation.

Netsupport is a very valuable classroom tool.  In a classroom where each student has their own computer workstation, many different things need to be controled.  With the accessability to surf the internet, listen to music, and many other things, students often have a difficult time staying on task.  I have used this software in my classroom to blackout the students computers or to display on their screens the content I want them to see on mine.  This appears to work much better than just projecting it on the screen.  I am also able to block certain applications from being accessed, such as the internet, or I can even control the different ports on the computer to block audio and flash drives.  Another feature is the ability to access a student computer and take control of it to teach a concept.

This is a very powerful program and has many applications in the classroom.
