               Help children get smart about money - "Smart City"
                  In the "Smart City", Ms. Dillbeck designed the courses for children to help them to manage their own money. Children need to help "Alex Ant" to do some shopping for his mother's birthday. But in the beginning, children need to know what money looks like. 
  
              Empower young people to “do good” in their community
                 Their courses help young people to devote themselves to the community by giveing their love and careness and services.
      
        Ms. Dillbeck, unlike other curriculum directors, she focus on helping children to develop their love to other people. She teaches them to know how to be responsible for themselves.

           Employment history
               Former Director of Science in the curriculum division of the Texas Education Agency 
               (TEA) for 9 years
 
          What is she famous for?
               Award winning teacher of over 35 years experience
               Being “forced out” of her TEA position
       
         Ms. Comer was fired in Nov, 2007 just because she forwarded an email she received from the opponent of Intelligent Design even she has high reputation and devoted herslef to education field, sometimes when it comes to some controversial issues, she still has nothing to do with that to help herself not to be fired. It made me wonder, education goal in TEA is to teach or to protect some theory that will be challenged.
