NCTM

The NCTM is offering a Regional Conference and Exposition, hosted by the Nevada Mathematics Council in Reno Nevada on November 5-7, 2008.

This conference is namely for educators in all levels. It offers an opening session with Kenneth Wesson, Brain-Considerate Learning. If It Is Your Job to Develop the Mind, Shouldn’t You Know How the Brain Works?

More than two hundred sessions will be held such as: A Dream Come True: Technology That Connects Algebra and Geometry, Incorporating Technology into the Algebra Curriculum and many other Technological related sessions.

This conference will be very useful for a teacher wanting to incorporate Educational technology into the classroom.
