National Science Teachers Association
National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) is an association created by and for science teachers. The NTSA’s mission is “ … to promote excellence and innovation in science teaching and learning for all.” Three area conferences and one national conference are held every year across the nation. These conferences offer topics specifically related to science and teaching topics that seem difficult for most students to understand. Presentations include lecture, activity, and lab based instruction. Science educators will find the conferences informative and fun, as well as productive. Area conferences each have a different focus. The locations, dates, and focuses for the 2008 area conferences are listed below:
