Multimedia Minor
This 15-credit undergraduate minor is designed for the individual who would enjoy producing multimedia computer-based training materials.
Employment opportunities for graduate with multimedia development skills are increasing as hundreds of companies are being established to meet the demand for well-designed multimedia materials.
Students selecting this minor must fill out and sign our Multimedia Minor Information Form and turn it into Emma Eccles Jones Education building, room 215 to officially be accepted into the program. The multimedia minor coordinator must sign the form also (Doug Holton <doug.holton@usu.edu>), so please schedule a meeting with the coordinator to discuss your plan of study.
| STEP 1: | See the Multimedia Minor Planning Page for descriptions of the courses offered in the multimedia minor. |
| STEP 2: | Think about which 5 courses (15 hours) you might be interested in taking. You'll have to pick 5 when filling out the Multimedia Minor Information Form that is required to be submitted to our office when signing up for the minor. |
| STEP 3: | Schedule a meeting with Doug Holton to get more information about the courses and review your information form. He'll sign off your information form and turn it in. |
| STEP 4: | Once you are near graduation or taking your last class for the minor, contact us to have the minor added to your transcript. |
That's it!
Contact Doug Holton for more information about the multimedia minor: doug.holton@usu.edu, room 215 Education building.
Below are some other forms as well. You may do a related internship or independent study instead of a multimedia course, but please consult with the multimedia minor coordinator first.
