About Me

I grew up as a military dependent, living in nine different states from Hawaii to Washington, D.C. before graduating from high school. I enjoyed moving around and I also gained an interesting perspective of public education. I’ve always known I wanted to be a teacher. I have a degree in art education and studio art and have practiced for over twenty years in both public school and higher education. As an arts administrator enrolled in this program, I am seeking new knowledge so that I may work with technology to build our art museum audience and be able to expand our outreach and research services.
