Hey!  I teach 7th grade Language Arts and Reading at Eastmont Middle School in Sandy.  I'm originally from Eugene, Oregon, but I've lived in the Salt Lake area since 1992.  At this time I live in Sandy (love the short commute) with my 13-year-old daughter, a yellow labrador retriever, an orange tabby cat, and a turtle.  From this menagerie, I guess it's obvious I love animals.  I also enjoy reading, hiking, playing piano, anything related to Disneyland, and I'm also a pretty big Star Trek geek, although I don't own a uniform (yet).
