MEd: Research Paper & Technologies

As a reminder, post a blog post by tomorrow about a possible topic you'd like to pursue for your research paper.  See the Research Paper page for guidance on selecting a topic, and you can also check out other students' blog posts to see what topics others are doing.

 

We'll meet in the regular broadcast class tomorrow, followed by 3 weeks in Wimba.

See the class schedule for more info and deadlines.  The last two weeks will be in broadcast.

 

Next week (October 29th), we'll be discussing technologies.  That's the last wiki chapter you have to do for the semester. 

 

This is now optional, not required, but you should also find a few references and created an initial outline for your paper in the next week or two.  See the Sample Outline page for guidance on the outline, and you can use Google Scholar to find research articles, and setup VPN to access the full text of the articles from off campus.

 

I've also posted the grading breakdown for each assignment.

 

Those with last names starting with letters N to Z will each make a 5-10 minute presentation about their research topic to the class in Wimba on November 5th.  Those will last names A-M will go November 12th.
