Server Accounts:

Server accounts are provided when students fill out this form and are approved.

Door Access Codes:

  • If you are a Graduate student in ITLS, contact the ITLS office (room 215) or your Faculty Advisor.
  • If you are enrolled in an ITLS course, contact your instructor.

Equipment Guidelines

  • Equipment is for use by students currently enrolled in an ITLS course.
  • Any use of equipment must be related to work for an ITLS course.
  • Equipment MAY NOT be used for personal use.
  • There is no fee for equipment use. Class fees purchase and maintain the equipment.
  • You are responsible to pay for damage or loss to equipment checked out in your name.
  • Equipment use is limited to a 2 day checkout period, depending on current demand.

  • Canon ZR800 (15)
  • Canon GL-1 (must have a faculty sponsor)

Digital Cameras:

  • Nikon Powershot 3200 (10)

  • Tripod (6)
  • Azden Wireless Microphone System
  • Wireless Mouse/Presenter (usb)
  • Lacie DVD r/rw external drive (firewire)
  • NEC LT156 Projector (faculty & staff only)
  • Apple MacBook Pro (15) (faculty & staff only)
  • Apple iPod Video (30G)

Checking Equipment Out

  • A valid USU ID or Driver's License is required.
  • Equipment is available on a first come, first serve basis. If I have it, you can use it.

Checking Equipment In

  • Please return all equipment to the Education Building, Room 281.
  • If no one is in room 281, equipment may be turned into the ITLS main office (room 215) or your instructor.

Other Information

  • Each video camera is supplied with 2 tapes. BOTH tapes must be returned with the camera. If you wish to keep your original footage, please purchase your own tape.

Lab and Classroom Guidelines / Securities Precautions

  • The ITLS labs are NOT part of USU's open access computer lab system.
  • DO NOT give door codes out to others or prop doors open.
  • DO NOT bring food and/or drink into labs.
  • Save backup copies of your work. Hard Drives may be reformatted at any time, without notice.
  • Bring headphones if you need to play audio.
  • Clean up after yourself. Push your chair in. Put the room back the way it should be. Shut down your computer.
  • Be considerate of other's time, frustrations, and desire to work.
