Ed Tech Knowledge Base

Beginning masters students in the foundations courses worked on a wiki-based Ed Tech Knowledge Base this past semester, with notes on various topics related to instructional and educational technology.
 

Yan Ma's volunteer work in Sichuan Province during summer 2008

Yan Ma, a doctoral student in ITLS, volunteered to help this summer in Mianyang, Sichuan Province, China, after the devastating earthquake.
 
She took some of the following photos. It breaks my heart to see them. Ya Ma writes:

This is also the first news item posted to the MED group on our new website.  It is meant for all MED students.  If you have already graduated and don't wish to receive notices in this group, email me back and I'll remove you from this group (if you wish) and change you over from student to alumni.  There is an alumni group too you are welcome to join if you wish.
