Prerequisites:

INST 5000/6060 or approval of instructor.

Course Description:

Includes study of organization, personnel, budgets, programs, and management of a library media center. Students define their role within a school setting and in relation to that of the principal and teachers. Also taught off campus. To receive graduate-level credit, students must fulfill additional requirements.

The Summer 2009 InsT 5040/6040 Course - School Library Administration & Leadership with
Larry Jeppesen will be Tuesdays - starting May 5th, ending June 23rd.

Since it is only 8 weeks, it will be 5:15 - 9:00pm each Tuesday.

It will be broadcast, just like the fall & spring classes have been -
so attend at your center's receive site.

The last day of class (June 23rd) is the week of practicum, so that
one will be here in Logan - not broadcast.
