This article examines the usefulness of instructor provided online PowerPoint slides as a study guide for students, supplementing class attendance, lectures, textbook reading and other traditional course resources. The course surveyed was an undergraduate business class of mostly various business majors, with freshman to senior enrollment. It measured the student response to the available PowerPoint slides, independently and in combination with traditional materials, and whether providing such slides enhanced student performance in the course and on exams. Also investigated was whether a relationship exists between the usage of this resourceClick here to read more »
