Instructional Technology group makes front page!
Our own Joanne Bentley led a group to Egypt this past semester and the story made the front page of the Herald Journal. They were hired by USAID who wanted 2 courses to be overhauled and delivered in Cairo. In addition to the courses, USAID wanted help training their people to learn how to train others. ITEA Overview:
The International Technology Education Association is a professional organization specifically for technology and engineering teachers, with a focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Currently, over 35,000 technology teachers around the world belong to the association. ITEA publishes five scholarly journals, such as the Technology Teacher, that gives technology educators the opportunity to network with each other and share instructional ideas.<Click here to read more »
