Semester Reflection
At the beginning of the semester I really felt frustrated with myself. I was wondering why I had decided to go into this program when I didn't consider myself savvy (at all) with technology. I knew how to do basic things with technology, turn on and use my computer, navigate the internet, and possibly fix a paper jam in my printer. To be honest, I really felt bad for my building tech, he was always answering the stupidest questions from me!

Summary of Semester
I have learned a lot this semester about technology as well as instructional design. One thing that I learned which may sound odd is an actual definition of instructional technology. For me computers, technology, software, hardware and any other tech jargon hasn't always some easy for me. The interest has been there, but I have always been intimidated by technology. Definitions
Wow, after reading the definitions for this week’s assignment, I realized how lacking my understanding of this area really was. As a teacher of technology I thought that “Instructional technology” was nothing more than teaching how to use technology. After searching the web and long discussion with colleagues I discovered that instructional technology is what we as teachers should be doing, using technology to improve instruction and the learning process.Click here to read more »
