USU Rocks! - COSL Conference 2008
I attended a number of classes on Thursday, as I was the room-dude. I learned something from each one. There were two, however, that were especially good.
Yale University and Online Learning
Funded by the Hewlett Foundation, Yale made some very interesting decisions in producing Open Courseware.

Taiwan’s OpenCourseWare--Mark's Impressions
I attended Li HaiShuo's presentation on Open Course Ware at NCTU in Hsin Chu (I believe) Taiwan (ocw.nctu.edu.tw)
Li helped NCTU prepare introductory OCW classes in Physics and Calculus. He had mixed results. Students taking the courses for credit at the university had high success rates. But pre-college students who were taking the class in their summer break almost never completed the course.
