International Night

We'll have another international dinner at Nick Eastmond's house.  It is a potluck dinner.
 
Both international and non-international students and faculty are welcome!
We ask that you bring a dish from (1) your country of  
origin; or (2) from a place that you identify strongly with.  Please make the dish to feed 10-12 people.

If you have transport difficulties, please let me know and we'll  
organize a way to pick you up to come and go back.

Once again, if you have a local costume from a particular country that you would like to wear, you are invited to do so. 

We have excellent food and company at these events.  Sometimes  
students from the USA think that the event is not for them, but that is not true.  We do use the opportunity to highlight our international students, many of whom come from major distances and represent amazing cultural backgrounds.  It is for all members of the department and alumni besides.
