My Goals

My goal for the program is to become a better teacher through the use of technology.  As a technology teacher, I spend each year getting acquainted with the newest technology.  Sometimes it feels like I have fallen off leading edge even during the few months of summer vacation.  I feel that this program will help me develop the skills I need to make curriculum that will help my students feel about my subject the same way I do.  I believe that the best way to improve the technological literacy of my students is by using technology.  I feel that improving the implementation of technology in the classroom will make the biggest improvement to our ability to educate.

 

My goal for this class is to come away from it with a better understanding of educational technology, through a study of research-based methods into what does and doesn't work in the classroom.
