What is Learning and Behaviorism
At this point I think that my idea of learning is about the same. Learning is understanding the world around us. But I would like to add understanding ourselves as well. (Thanks Whinnie, darn good point) I think Behaviorism helps with that new addition.

Final Reflection
When I first started my goals for this class were vague and undefined. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to gain from the class or even if the class was going to benefit me in any way. I now believe that this class has helped me to define my goals not only for this class but also for my masters program and also my teaching career.
Helping to build the Ed. Tech. Knowledge Base opened my eyes to how much I don't know about technology in education or even education in general.Click here to read more »

Cellphones in the classroom
I planned on writing about cellphones in the classroom. When I first started to teach I hated cell phones. But as time went on and I learned more about education and technology I could see the value of using cell phones to teach with. However, because of district rules I am not allowed to introduce this technology into my classes. I would like to find out what can be done with education and cell phones and I would like to find research that I could use as support as I fight my district on this issue.
Open education
When I first started my teacher eduction program I was disgusted by the lack of free educational resources on the Internet and the glut of expensive poorly desined resourses. In a country that says education is a top priority and is so important for our future, it seemed to me that we realy only cared about education if we could make a buck.
However, I think in the last 4 or 5 years that is begining to change. more and more open education and open education web sites are begining to crop up and whole organizations are begining to form around this idea.Click here to read more »
