Brains are evenly distributed throughout the world; education is not.
It is our job to connect education to brains.

Teachers Without Boarders (http://teacherswithoutboarders.org) is an organization dedicated to helping teachers throughout the world have access to professional development opportunities. Based in Seattle, WA, they have a small staff, paid through grants from CISCO, and a large volunteer community made up of talented teachers from many cultures worldwide. They are focused on teachers who are “passionate about their subjects, and compassionate towards children.”

They work in Afghanistan, Brazil, Burundi, China, Middle East, South Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Turkey, Pakistan, Zambia, India, and Nigeria. By providing online courses as well as tools and Community Teaching and Learning Centers, they intend to create a global teachers’ university. Local conferences are provided for teachers to have the opportunity to learn from each other. The conferences focus on subject-matter, science-inquiry method, math teaching techniques, and English-language proficiency.
