I think I have to explore this topic.

online education

 

Should be able to find many scholarly references for these sub-topics.

There's not research on edupunks

 

I'd recommend searching google scholar first to find a topic with some research papers

I spoke more with Mike and this could work.  It would be a really interesting paper,

it just might involve a little 'original research' - like maybe surveying or talking with some 'edupunks'.
