BLOSSOMS Initiative
In one of the last sessions of the conference Elizabeth Murray presented on the MIT LINC BLOSSOMS initiative. BLOSSOMS stands for Blended Learning Open Source Science Or Math Studies. The objective of BLOSSOMS is to develop an open source repository of blended learning video modules for high school math and science teachers. Murray talked about design features open educational resources (OERs) must incorporate, BLOSSOMS pedagogy, and reviewed BLOSSOMS' development plan.

TUSK to mobile
Susan Albright from Tufts University gave an overview on how her Tufts research team has adapted access to their curriculum database Tufts University Sciences Knowledgebase (TUSK) for mobile devices. This presentation caught my eye because one of my primary interests is in finding new instructional technology applications in the developing world. Creating small-screen-friendly content addresses one of biggest barriers to information access in low-resource areas.
