Final Words

Honestly, this class has forced me to think deeper than I have in a long time.  Technology has always been interesting to me and I have tried to use it when ever I had the chance to do so. I have learned that using technology is not the same as knowing why and how it works. I have learned that technology is being used in many areas of education, which I am a part of. It is exciting! Major leader in the field

I recently attended a conference through my district that I thought was very interesting. The conference speaker targeted K - 12 teachers of all curriculum. The speakers name was Allen November. Alan was a high school teacher for many years and now teaches at a university. He was encharge of an alternative hig school when he made a major break through about how kids learn.Click here to read more »

Goals for INST 6310

I enjoy technology in every shape and form. My gaol is to learn how I can improve my teaching while using the techniques that I learn in this class. There is so much that I am willing to learn because I don't know enough to be as effective as I would like to be.

Definitions

I thought that I had a pretty firm grasp on what technology was. Little did I know. It wasn't until recently that my eyes where opened to a more broad perspective of what technology is. Even though my eyes are now open, I am not  sure if I know the definition of technology.

In my research I found several defintions that where lengthy and drawn out. I like the shorter, more clear  definitions.Click here to read more »
