Using cell phones in the foreign language classroom?
I thought this looked like an appropriate topic for me because I am trying to implement this idea in my classroom. I teach at two schools and my advanced classes are very excited to try it. One student has asked me every day for the last two and a half weeks when he should bring his cell phone. I want to make sure the first experience is a great one, so I have waited.Click here to read more »

Wikieducator
Wikieducator appears to be a very useful site but a user-friendlier main page might attract more visitors. All of these new wiki- pages reminds me of all of the new dotcom businesses that sprang up several years ago. Some were very viable but others were quickly forgotten. One of the most intriguing items from the main page (http://www.wikieducator.org/Main_Page) was a statistic that over 1/2 of those registered on Wickieducator were over 45. I am under that age group and am now registered, but why are more "experienced" educators using the site? DoClick here to read more »

Doug, Cohort...
I found this association by searching for a group or conference dealing with foreign language acquisition through technology. I haven't done more than see if it is a current and real organization. Will it work for my association assignment? Click here to read more »
