Definitions regarding INST / Ed Tech.
I will start by speaking about something I heard Doug say at the beginning of class on the 10th. He made comments about using technology as an aide for different types of presentations. Some examples he gave included using PowerPoint to supplement his teaching, as well as his interview for his gig at USU. He said, when he uses these types of things, he tends to rush through them. That, to me, speaks volumes. The same thing holds true for most areas of technology and education, or technology as a whole.

Goals, aspirations, and all that jazz.
Hello everyone,
Our assignment is to describve our goals for this class and for our degree. Wow - that is not a small task. I feel, in order for this to be effective, people should know about me, personally, first. That makes sense. In order to more fully appreciate why people feel a certain way, I believe it is important to attempt to gain as much knowledge about that person as you can. What I am not going to do here is narrate my life story, but what I will do is give you a very, very brief synopsis.
