Foundations Course
We will be using the groups feature on this website for the class. Here is the foundations 2008 group.
During the course, students will work on filling in an "Ed Tech Knowledge Base" with nuggets on organizations, people, theories, technologies, and so forth. Also we'll work on writing skills related to writing a research paper. Anyone not in the class is welcome to follow along and comment, but please don't fill in the knowledge base pages yourself, at least not until later in the semester after our students have had a go at it :)
I'll post the Java 5275/6275 syllabus soon. We'll be using a java group for that class as well, although it will mostly be for me to post the screencast videos (see my earlier post about embedding video/audio on the site). If you by chance want an early start, go to http://javafx.com/ and follow the instructions for downloading and installing the latest Java Development Kit (JDK, not JRE), and Netbeans 6.1.
