Possible Research Paper topic

For my research paper,  I somehow want to incorporate students with special needs and technology.  I have the following ideas:
  • Technology for people with disabilities in the vocational setting.
  • Technology to help students with Learning Disability succeed in the general education classroom, including text readers, note takers etc.
I am not sure if I need to be choose a specific form of technology to study, or if I can be more broad.

Assistive Technology

I think Assistive Technology is a good topic area.  You may want to focus on one type of AT device in the classroom.  You shouldn't have any trouble finding research articles on AT subjects.

 I have thought of a couple

 I have thought of a couple more, more specific ideas I could do my paper on, and I am hoping to get some feedback.
  • The use of computerized communication devices by students with Severe Disabilities.
  • Technology to help students with Learning Disabilities, read and understand Text books in the General Education classroom.
Please let me know if either of these topics will be OK.  I would like to do my research on some sort of assistive technology device, buy maybe it is not appropriate for this assignment.
