Summary of Semester

I have learned a lot this semester about technology as well as instructional design. One thing that I learned which may sound odd is an actual definition of instructional technology. Research Paper topics

I really am nervous yet excited for this research paper. I would really like some feedback, especially from Doug, regarding topics.
I am leaning towards doing my research on using multi-media in the classroom not just to use it, but when it is appropriate and beneficial to the outcome of student learning.Click here to read more »

Wikieducator is good in theory

Wikieducator is a community approach to learning. The goal of the project is that learners can work collaboratively to gain access to free education by 2015.  Wikieducator is sponsored by COL - Common Wealth of Learning.

WikiEducator aims to build a thriving and sustainable global community dedicated to the design, development and delivery of free content for learning.
It all sounds so wonderful and worth this global effort, if the free information is worth accessing.Click here to read more »

Technology

I was really glad that Doug pointed out that technology is not being computer literate. That was great for me. Ever since I started in this program people I work with seem to think that now I will be able to fix all of their computer problems or issues.
